State of the Environment 2010
Austria in the SOER 2010
Each of the 38 country assessments of the SOER 2010 contains a country profile and six thematic issues: air pollution, climate change mitigation, freshwater, land use, nature protection & biodiversity and waste.
For the Austrian assessment four additional important environmental topics were selected and described: indoor air pollution, renewable energy, sustainable tourism and transport.
The country assessment for Austria in the SOER 2010 was compiled by the experts of the Umweltbundesamt, the Environment Agency Austria, as part of the European Environment Observation Network (EIONET).
