"Environment&Me" EEA Photo Competition 2025
Vote for your favorite photo now
Which one is your favourite? Voting is now open to cast your vote to pick the winner of this year’s Public Choice Award for the European Environment Agency’s (EEA) ‘Environment&Me’ photo competition 2025.

This year’s competition ‘Environment&Me’ invited citizens to tell the story of their personal connection to the environment and showcase their take on our planet's journey toward a sustainable future. The EEA shortlisted 42 entries out of just under 1800 pictures submitted from across 36 countries in Europe for final top prize consideration.
This year’s finalists show the beauty of nature as captured in Anella Verda de Terrassa, Spain, where a daring ladybug attempts a delicate climb from one flower stem to another or the stark and grim side as captured by a fireman standing beside a grey dead tree in the dried-out Lake Koronia, in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The competition categories this year were based on themes and colours:
- BLUE – Water & Me
- GREEN – Nature & Me
- ORANGE – Everyday life & Me
Winners will be chosen for each category and receive a cash prize of EUR 1,000. Additional prizes are awarded to the best youth entry as well as the public’s favourite photo.
You can vote for as many photos as you want but each person is only allowed to vote once. Voting ends on 15 July at 23.59 (CET). Winners will be announced on July 25.
