Short description

Singapore has successfully built a land use, land use change and forestry (LULUCF) system over the past five years. The national institution National Park Singapore (National Parks Board Singapore) was commissioned with the implementation of this system. It was supported by Austrian institutions. 

The Environment Agency Austria was responsible for the implementation of greenhouse gas emissions calculations in the land use sector. This reporting meets the requirements of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) or the corresponding decisions of the conferences of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
