Our Laboratory
According to the motto "On the trail of harmful substances", we have been testing your samples independently, reliably, competently and confidentially for over 35 years. Our core competence lies in the analysis of special parameters, even beyond conventional routine analyses. Customized solutions and individual customer service are our strengths.
The chemical-analytical laboratory is an accredited testing center for environmental, genetically modified organisms and fuel analyses according to the international standard ISO / IEC 17025. We are the national reference laboratory for dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) as well as for genetically modified organisms in accordance with the European Food Ordinance (Regulation (EC) No. 882/2004).
Pollutant analysis includes sampling and analysis including method development in all environmental media and selected consumer goods, feed and food and in the human body. In addition, we also carry out training courses, specialist events and round robin tests. Innovative methods, the latest analysis technologies and know-how are used in our laboratories.
Focus on environmental analysis
As part of risk prevention, we examine in the accredited laboratory for environmental analysis those substances that have not yet been well researched with regard to occurrence and behaviour in the environment and their effects on health (also called "emerging substances, upcoming pollutants"), as well as substances for which our analyses create the basis for risk assessment and legal regulations, voluntary restrictions and for the improvement of technical processes.
The risks and possible measures to reduce and avoid these substances are examined by us on an interdisciplinary basis. In addition to the effects on the environment and health, we also take an interdisciplinary approach to address the social and economic aspects. With our work we make a contribution to future-oriented health and environmental policy.
