Request for service for
Preparatory Work for the Implementation of Material Flow Accounts, Environmental Taxes Accounts and Air Emissions Accounts
Under the EU-funded programme EU4Green Recovery East, Component 3, Umweltbundesamt GmbH is launching a call for expert services to support the Republic of Moldova in preparing for the implementation of Regulation (EU) No 691/2011.
The assignment focuses on preparatory work for the development of environmental-economic accounts, specifically:
- Material Flow Accounts (MFA)
- Air Emissions Accounts (AEA)
- Environmental Taxes Accounts (ETA)
The objective is to support Moldova’s EU accession process by strengthening statistical capacities, methodological frameworks, data collection and processing systems, and inter-institutional coordination mechanisms.
This work will enable the country to ensure full compliance with the EU statistical acquis and the regular production and reporting of environmental-economic accounts from the first year of EU membership.
