    In the Informative Inventory Report (IIR) 2012 the Umweltbundesamt presents a comprehensive and detailed method description of the Austrian air emission inventory (Österreichische Luftschadstoff-Inventur – OLI) for the air pollutants
    - sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), non-methane
    volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs), ammonia (NH3)
    - carbon monoxide (CO) and
    - particulate matter (TSP, PM10, PM2.5)
    The Austrian air emission inventory covers also air pollutant groups such as
    - heavy metals: cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), lead (Pb) and
    - persistent organic pollutants (POPs): polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), dioxins and furans (PCDD/Fs) as well as hexachlorobenzene (HCB).
    With the Informative Inventory Report 2012, Austria provides documentation as required for reporting under the UNECE Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (LRTAP).
