    The Informative Inventory Report (IIR) 2016 presents a comprehensive and detailed description of trends and methodologies applied in the Austrian Air Emission Inventory (Österreichische Luftschadstoff-Inventur – OLI) for the air pollutants sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs), ammonia (NH3) carbon monoxide (CO) and
    particulate matter (TSP, PM10, PM2.5) as well as the air pollutant groups such as heavy metals: cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), lead (Pb) and
    persistent organic pollutants (POPs): polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), dioxins and furans (PCDD/Fs), hexachlorobenzene (HCB) as well as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB).
    With the IIR 2016, Austria complies with its reporting obligation under the UNECE Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (LRTAP).
